Meet, Magnus Bjorendahl, our Co-Founder and CEO here at Twenty5. Learn more about Magnus, what inspired him to work in this industry, why he founded Twenty5, and his favorite cuisine to cook.
How long have you been with Twenty5 and why did you join?
I was one of the 5 founders of Twenty5. We decided to start Twenty5 because we saw a gap in the market and also the timing was right to enter the market.
What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
I was intrigued by Silicon Valley, as it was in the driver seat of technology and changing the world, even though I did not know much more about it. With a Master in Computer Science at the age of 24, I was able to secure a job in the Bay Area with SAP and fulfill my dream.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received and from who?
Perseverance and hard work is the secret to success. Don’t remember from whom.
What do you love most about what you do at Twenty5?
I love the trust and responsibility that our customers put in us to improve their businesses and creating a company from scratch going through all the various stages a company needs to progress through. New challenges and new opportunities every day.
As we are a 100% remote team, what is your favorite work-from-home productivity hack?
The physical space matter to me, so sitting in a dedicated space for work allows me to focus much better and also to create a clearer separation from work and home.
How do you unwind after a long day?
Playing with my 4 kids allows me to completely shift my focus very fast and also gets me into physical movement and outdoors.
If our team came to your place for dinner, what would you cook?
Either Italian or Mexican dinner.
In your opinion, what's the most important invention in history?
So many to choose from - I spent my childhood playing with balls and I still play tennis and soccer. So balls has definitely contributed to so much fun in my life. So thanks to whomever invented it!
